Oil, Gas & LNG

LNG stands for "Liquefied Natural Gas".  Here, the natural gas is cleaned and cooled down to -192°C. The liquid gas at this temperature can now be more easily transported in special tankers.

In the destination port, the liquid gas is pumped through pipelines into tanks. After a later return to the gaseous state, the gas can be fed into the available pipeline system for further transport to the end user.

In addition to the standard products of the company Hesterberg, we also have products specifically for LNG plants. It is particularly to be noted that all materials usually shrink at low temperatures. All pre-stressed bolt connections are to perform with this.

• Cryogenic storage, pre-insulated (plain bearings, guide bearings, anchors)
• Cryogenic pipe clamps
• Other pipe supports and pipe suspensions with special corrosion protection requirements, since the plants are usually constructed directly in the sea
