Power Plants

In power plants, electricity and sometimes also district heating is generated from a wide variety of types of energy.

Here, energy sources can be coal, oil, gas and waste.

But there are also power stations that use water power, wind, solar energy or nuclear power.

Particularly with thermal energy production methods, the pipes and other components heat up and expand.

Pipe supports and pipe suspensions in different versions bear the loads, conduct and safeguard the pipelines.

Basically, there is a distinction between static and dynamic pipe supports.

Static pipe supports include for example:

• Pipe supports
• Rigid suspensions (support attachment, forks, eyelets, pipe clamps)
• Spring hangers
• Constant hangers

Dynamic pipe supports are usually understood to be elements that can equally ablate tensile and compressive forces. Such as:

• Articulated struts and dynamic pipe clamps
• Shock absorbers and dynamic pipe clamps
• Vibration dampers with accessories
