P91 – a material for the patient

The material P91 (X10 CrMoVNb9-1/1.4903) is a material which can be safely processed with appropriate care and state-of-the-art technology.

Hesterberg GmbH & Co.KG, headquartered in Ennepetal, has set itself the task. Deformation and welding require slow heating and cooling phases as well as monitored temperature control during welding.

State-of-the-art multi-zone glow devices with controlled temperature intervals are used and lead to the desired good results. These procedures require a relatively high amount of time, but good time needs its time.
